Our Projects

Children Of Alnoor Madrassah Well Project.

Acces to clean water is a life changing gift.

Water is a blessing from Allah (swt). While fasting in Ramadhan we begin to realise the difficulties that others may face in less fortunate countries without any access to clean water. Giving charity is one of the pillars of Islam and giving during the month of Ramadhan our rewards are multiplied further.
Allah says in the Qur’an,

‘ And whoever saves one [a life] – it is as if he had saved all of mankind’ (Qur’an, 5:32).

The gift of water saves lives and donating to clean water to save lives is as if you saved all of mankind.

The Messenger of Allah (saw) was asked, “ Which charity is best?” He replied, “[Providing] water”’ [Abu Dawud].

Having access to clean water is a human right, and if we fulfill this right unto everyone we can it is the best kind of sadaqah we can give.
Children at Alnoor Madrasah in Barking are raising money to build a Well in a less fortunate country. For the last 2 years we built two Wells in Pemba, Tanzania, as you can see pictured above. This gave access to clean water for the community. As a madrasah, we want to raise more money to build wells in more less fortunates communities.

We appreciate any help and donations we will receive. May Allah accept our fasts and our sadaqah. Ameen

Assalaamu Alaikum:
